If your school does not offer martial arts, then Central-Clemson Rec Center is the answer! CCRC offers after school care for community members (transportation required) and students at Central Academy of the Arts (county bus transport) or Clemson Elementary School (CAT bus transport).

Clemson Elementary School offers direct transfer from class to on-site after school care. This option is perfect for those who attend Clemson Elementary and prefer pickup at the school.
What do I need to know about CES ASC?
- Students of Clemson Elementary School only
- Pickup at Clemson Elementary required
- Martial arts on Wednesdays
What do I need to know about CCRC ASC?
- CCRC members, Clemson Elementary (via CAT bus) and Central Academy of the Arts (via Pickens County bus)
- Pickup is at CCRC
- Dropoff required for children not coming from designated schools
- Martial arts class held on Tuesdays

Answers to Your Questions
Yes! After-school care martial arts is the same as attending Tiny Tigers or Lil’ Dragons at our school, so your child will learn skills and test for stripes and belts in recognition of their progress.
No, martial arts is one of several specialty programs available at after school care and requires a separate fee.
Absolutely not! Our programs are designed for participants of all skill levels, but the general expectation is that most students will be completely new to martial arts.
While there is not a second after-school care session, you can add a second session at our dojahng in Clemson.
No. Martial arts classes are not held during scheduled school breaks such as fall break, winter break and spring break.
Yes, your child does need to have a uniform for promotions and wearing the uniform during testing and promotion is required. Wearing the uniform at ASC regular class is encouraged but not required.
If your child attends Central Academy of the Arts, they will be transported to CCRC via Pickens County school bus. Clemson Elementary students that choose CCRC, will be transported via CAT bus. Parents are responsible for transportation from other area schools.
Currently, Clemson Elementary has after school care martial arts on site. Central-Clemson Recreation Center offers bus access to after school care martial arts for students at Central Academy of the Arts or Clemson Elementary.
